It was not the sugary, filled mess that everyone is pawning off as king cakes now. It had a consistency like cake and bread combined, and the hint of almond flavor was magnificent. Bravo, chef!

Another local bakery lost my order, and I had a plain but beautiful cake planned for my daughter's first birthday. I live in the neighborhood, so I thought I had nothing to lose by walking into this bakery that I've passed for three months, asking for an already-made cake. Needless to say, my expectations were exceeded. I felt like family!! The personalized cakes (two tiered and smash cake) were beautiful, and they were moist and delicious, too. I can't wait to go back for pastries, catering or another cake. I recommend everyone go for a treat!!January 07, 2017
